How is my service different?
I have many years of experience advocating for children in the school system, including my own child.
As a therapist (LCSW) I can look at the whole child as help you see some “blind spots” that you may not be able to see because you are so emotionally involved.
My approach is always going into meetings with the attitude that all those involved want to help your child. I understand that parents want to maintain a positive relationship with the school and I will work to help make sure our advocacy is firm but respectful.
Why should I hire you?
Save time!
Release of the Burden of trying to understand “the System” Sometimes you are so overwhelmed at just learning about the diagnosis, you don’t have the time to learn about the special education process as well.
Are you an attorney?

NO, I am not an attorney. If you need legal advice, I will help you find one that specializes in Special Education Law if needed.

How does you billing work?

I charge for all correspondence, phone consultations, meeting preparation, or meeting attendance at an hourly rate. Any travel time over 15 min will be billed at my hourly rate. I ask for an initial deposit for the first 4 hours of work. Any hours after that, will be billed at an hourly rate. Billing will be sent out on a monthly basis and due upon receipt. I bill through Paypal and I accept checks.
